DURHAM, N.C. – Blue Devil head coach Robbie Church announced Wednesday Samantha Childress is stepping into a role of video coordinator of the Duke women’s soccer program.
Childress, a 2016 graduate of Appalachian State University, will be responsible for filming training sessions and games, as well as breaking down game film for individual players throughout the season.
She has begun graduate coursework at Duke University Nicholas School of the Environment towards her Master of Environmental Management (MEM).
At Appalachian State, Childress was a four-year starter on the women’s soccer team where she finished second in the university’s record book for both career goals (25) and season goals (10) during her career.
