Montreal Alouettes Sign Former Duke Quarterback to Roster

Anthony Boone had a historic career for the Duke Football, finishing as the winningest quarterback in school history in addition to starting in 2 consecutive postseason bowl games and the 2013 ACC Championship game. Boone has now graduated from Duke and is pursuing a professional football career, and the former Blue Devil recently signed a deal to join the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League.

After going undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft, Anthony Boone signed as a rookie free agent with the Detroit Lions to compete for a reserve quarterback spot behind returning starter Matthew Stafford.
