Myles Jones Named National Midfielder Of The Year

Even though the Duke Blue Devils lacrosse team may not have reached some of their team goals this season, midfielder Myles Jones’ year couldn’t have gone any better individually. On Friday it was announced that he was named the Lt. j.g. Donald MacLaughlin Jr. Award winner, which goes to the nations top midfielder.

This honor for Jones comes one day after he was named a first team All-American, and he is the fourth Blue Devil to ever win this award. He is also the sixth Blue Devil to win a major award under head coach John Danowski.
