Five Duke Women Lacrosse Players Receive All-ACC Honors

Five Duke Women’s Lacrosse players were recently honored by the Atlantic Coast Conference for their performances during the regular season. The Blue Devils finished with a 13-2 record and ranked #3 in the country heading into the postseason.

Senior attackerKerrin Maurerwas named to the All-ACC First Team, leading Duke in goals, assists, points and draw controls this season and has scored in 41 straight games. Junior goalkeeper Kelsey Duryea, junior defenderClaire Scarrone, senior midfielderKatie Trees, and senior midfielder Taylor Trimble all received Second Team honors.

Duryea and Maurer are also finalists for the 2015 Tewaaraton Award, which recognizes the top male and female college lacrosse players each year.
