The 2015 WNBA Draft was held Thursday evening and Duke star center Elizabeth Williams was drafted by the with the #4 pick by the Connecticut Sun. Williams was one of 12 college players invited to attend the draft at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, the home of the Sun.
Elizabeth Williams had a historic career with the Blue Devils and will finish as one of the top players in Duke Women’s Basketball history, finishing as a 4-time ACC Defensive Player of the Year, 4-time All-ACC First Team Selection, and 4-time AP All-American.
