TAMPA, Fla. – Drake University tight end Eric Saubert has accepted an invitation to play in the 92nd East-West Shrine Game. The Game will be held January 21, 2017, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., kicking off at 2 p.m. CST and broadcast live on NFL Network.
Saubert led the Bulldogs with a career-high 56 receptions for 776 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns to earn first-team All-Pioneer Football League honors. In his final game in a Bulldog uniform, he recorded 131 yards receiving with two touchdowns at Stetson on Nov. 19.
