NORMAL, Okla. – The Drake University men's golf team was awarded the Golf Coaches Association of America All-Academic Team Award on Wednesday.
The recognition is bestowed on squads maintaining a cumulative team grade point average of 3.0 or above for the 2016-17 academic year. The Bulldogs registered a 3.4 GPA and were one of 102 team to receive the prestigious honor.
The Bulldogs begin the 2017-18 season on Sept. 9 at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado Springs, Colo.
