ST. LOUIS – Senior Kaitlyn Finneran (Morrison, Ill.) of the Drake University softball team was named to the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete First Team, the MVC office announced Monday, May 15 afternoon. It is the second-straight season Finneran has been named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team.
Finneran, an outstanding student, graduated this past weekend with a degree in biology and a minor in sociology. She graduated with a 3.91 cumulative grade point average and Summa Cum Laude. Finneran, who has been accepted to Des Moines University to study Osteopathic Medicine beginning in Aug.
