Tigers' skid reaches four after 6-4 loss to White Sox in 10 inn.

For much of the day on a cold day in downtown Detroit, the Tigers’ offense remained so.

For the fourth consecutive game, the team was struggling offensively.

Then, the bottom of the ninth inning rolled around. They were down two runs. Victor Martinez led off with a solo home run, his first of the year, against White Sox closer David Robertson. John Hicks doubled and Alex Avila, a former teammate of Robertson’s at Alabama and with the White Sox last season, singled.

The game was tied.

But lefty reliever Justin Wilson’s first blemish of the season came at the most inopportune of times.
