Buck Farmer is heading back to the minors, and Tyler Collins could join him.
The Detroit Tigers announced Farmer will head to Triple-A Toledo on Sunday.
Farmer, who was added to the roster as the 26th man for Saturday's doubleheader, picked up the first major league victory in the Tigers' 4-3 win over the White Sox. He struck out 11 in six-plus innings.
Collins, meanwhile, was designated for assignment after the Tigers purchased the contract of outfielder Alex Presley, who hit .213 (33-for-155) in 40 games with the Mud Hens this season.
If Collins clears waivers, he could rejoin the Tigers' organization in Toledo.
