MINNEAPOLIS -- JaCoby Jones walked into the clubhouse Sunday morning with nine stitches on his upper lip.
It wasn't pretty, but it was a far cry from the bloody mess on Jones' face after he was hit by a fastball Saturday afternoon.
In fact, Jones counts himself as lucky. He smiled in his talk with reporters Sunday morning, even though it hurt to do so.
"It could've knocked out all my teeth or struck me square in the eye," Jones said. "I am lucky it hit me in my big lip and just made it bigger.
