MINNEAPOLIS – Last Monday, the Tigers were the worst team in baseball.
They were coming off a sweep by the Indians — at home, no less — they couldn’t pitch, they couldn’t hit, they were fielding, but that was about it. They weren’t sticking around in the clubhouse long after games, they were growing tired of the questions, they didn’t appear to be having fun.
A week ago, the Tigers were talked about on television for having a lack of leadership inside the clubhouse.
