Detroit Tigers avoid arbitration with all 6 eligible players

The Detroit Tigers have avoided arbitration by agreeing to 2017 contract terms will all six of their eligible players.

According to people with knowledge of the situations, utilityman Andrew Romine gets $1.3 million for 2017, right-handed reliever Bruce Rondon $850,000, shortstop Jose Iglesias $4.1 million and lefty reliever Justin Wilson $2.7 million.

According to ESPN's Jerry Crasnick, the team also has settled with righty reliever Alex Wilson at $1.175 million.

The team announced all five of those signings, minus contract terms this afternoon. It also said it had agreed with the sixth player, third baseman Nick Castellanos.
