MINNEAPOLIS -- The Detroit Tigers are hopeful that Miguel Cabrera will need only the minimum 10 days on the disabled list before returning to action.
Manager Brad Ausmus said Cabrera's right groin strain is slightly higher than a Grade 1, but less severe than a Grade 2.
"We're hopeful that 10 days is enough," Ausmus said.
That would put Cabrera in line to return on May 1 or May 2.
