Greene hit hard, bats cold in loss to Tribe

DETROIT -- After he gave up one earned run and posted three wins in as many starts, the Cleveland Indians made it look easy beating Shane Greene. Brandon Moss and Carlos Santana hit two-run doubles before Moss smashed two home runs off Detroit's bullpen, sending Greene to his first loss and the Tigers to their fourth in a row, as the Tribe won, 13-1, on Friday night at Comerica Park.

Greene entered the night with a chance to become the first Tigers pitcher to win his first four starts of a season since Frank Tanana in 1988, having surrendered only one earned run over his first three starts.
