ANAHEIM -- Anibal Sanchez had his turn as a hard-luck losing pitcher on Friday night. Considering his fate five days ago, having lost a four-run lead on home runs, he wasn't going to lament his situation.
The right-hander's relief at his turnaround was so strong that it was hard to tell any frustration. Five days after he lost the chance the Tigers gave him, he was happy to have at least given them a shot in a 2-0 loss to the Angels.
"I want to say thank God for today," Sanchez said.
