The rematch of the season: Tampa Bay Lightning against the Detroit Red Wings. We have been waiting for this moment since the devastating 0-2 loss April 29, 2015. Everything was looking up for the Wings, yet we just couldn’t finish.
Now it is a new season, we have a new coach, new players, and a new beginnings. The Red Wings have evolved since last season and show promise thus far.
Jimmy Howard has been our primary goalie for quite a few years now. He has come up big many times for us in the past and I believe he realizes the weight of this game for him and his job as the number one starter.
