Lundqvist outduels Coreau as Rangers blank Red Wings, 1-0, in OT

The Detroit Red Wings went with their big rookie as they hosted one of the top-scoring teams.

Jared Coreau and superstar colleague Henrik Lundqvuist dueled during the Sunday matinee at Joe Louis Arena, each backed by solid defensive efforts. J.T. Miller scored in overtime as the New York Rangers handed the Wings a 1-0 loss as they banked points for a fifth straight game.

Thomas Vanek did not return after being hit by a puck at the end of the first period.
