Detroit Red Wings May Move Goaltender Jimmy Howard

The Detroit Red Wings have some tough decisions to make during the offseason regarding their current roster. Areas of concern include Pavel Datsyuk retiring and the defense needing an overhaul. However, the number one area of concern for the team should be Jimmy Howard.

It’s no secret Jimmy Howard was not at his best this season. He posted a 14-14-5 record while also posting a .906 save percentage and a 2.80 goals against average. He also had a .485 quality start percentage. This was far worse than his teammate Petr Mrazek who truly emerged this season as the number one goalie on the roster.
