The Detroit Pistons will have around $13 million to play with this offseason. That number could increase based on some roster decisions and moves.
One move that the Pistons could opt to make to clear cap would be to trade shooting guard Jodie Meeks. That move would clear $6.5 million if they traded for a draft pick, less if it’s for another player.
But is that the right move for a team aiming to reach greater heights?
Meeks is a proven scorer when he’s healthy. His scoring could greatly benefit the Pistons’ weakest link–the bench.
