SVG reacts: Pistons drop ugly one on road to Hornets

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- You can blame this one on the shooting, but that would mean glossing over two contributing factors that led to Wednesday's ugly game.

The Pistons shot 38 percent, better than the Hornet's 34 percent, but committed 13 turnovers and shot 21 fewer free throws in an 87-77 loss to the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center.

Charlotte got to the free-throw line 29 times to Detroit's eight, outscoring the Pistons 49-38 in the second half and holding them to a regular-season low for points.

Andre Drummond turned in a 26-point, 20-rebound game, and Tobias Harris chipped in with 14, but there was little offense from elsewhere.
