Stan Van Gundy isn’t going to tolerate players from the Detroit Pistons playing their way into shape during training camp when it gets started at the end of September. Instead, he wants everybody on the team showing up for camp already in shape.

Van Gundy spoke to Perry Farrell of the Detroit Free Press recently and elaborated on his expectations.
“The thing we’ve tried to impress upon the players is coming back in great shape,’’ Van Gundy said this week. “Hopefully, over the course of the summer.
