Jon Leuer is a 6’10” sharpshooting power forward who is capable of becoming the stretch four that Stan Van Gundy so desperately desires. Leuer shot 38 percent from three-point range last season and is also a 38 percent three-pointer shooter during his five-year career.
He isn’t just a spot up shooter though as he has the ability to score off the dribble. He played about 19 minutes per game for the Suns last season in which he averaged 8.5 points and 5.6 rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field.
Last season, the Pistons really struggled to defend bigger stretch forwards especially Kevin Love during the playoffs.
