LOS ANGELES -- The long-running losing skid in Los Angeles is over.
And when you step back, a two-win trip out west isn't so bad either.
The Detroit Pistons got a corner triple from Tobias Harris and held off the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday, 102-97, for their first win at Staples Center since 2009.
Harris led the Pistons with 23 points, Marcus Morris scored 23 too, and Andre Drummond tallied another double-double.
Detroit (19-24) snaps a three-game losing skid that seemed to carry its season in the balance.
Beaten by perimeter shooting of late, the Pistons held the Lakers to 23 percent shooting from 3 and 43 percent shooting for the game.
