Pistons dealing with handful of injuries in camp

Auburn Hills — The Pistons almost got out of their first week of training camp without any injury issues.

Almost.

Coach Stan Van Gundy said after Friday morning’s practice that point guard Reggie Jackson suffered a bruise during a scrimmage after colliding with a basket stanchion.

Another point guard, Steve Blake, suffered “concussion-type symptoms” this week and his short-term status is uncertain. Blake didn’t practice Thursday or Friday and may not participate in Saturday’s open practice at The Palace.

“He got hit the other day and came down and hit his head on the floor.
