By now we all know how the Detroit Pistons’ free agency played out:
1)Target a starting caliber small forward
2)Call Danny Green
3)Call DeMarre Carroll
4) Strike out on both. Move on to plans B and C.
But what were plans B and C?
Had it not been for General Manager Jeff Bower, the backup plan might have been something Pistons fans are sick of–making a big mistake in free agency.
