Andre Drummond will be part of USA Basketball's upcoming minicamp, a precursor to finalizing the squad for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro, according to the Detroit Free Press.
Drummond was a member of the 2014 FIBA World Cup team that won gold, but played sparingly behind of Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins and Kenneth Faried.
It is expected that as many as 40 players could be invited to USA Basketball's three-day minicamp in Las Vegas in August, so it's no surprise to see Drummond make the cut.
