Calvin Johnson may be done playing football, but the former Detroit Lions receiver isn't straying too far from the spotlight.
Johnson will appear on Season 23 of "Dancing With The Stars" this fall, Entertainment Tonight reported Tuesday. He's expected to partner with Lindsay Arnold on the ABC reality series.
Johnson retired from the NFL in March after nine seasons and later said his decision was due to the wear and tear football took on his body.
The second overall pick of the 2007 draft, Johnson underwent finger and knee surgeries in recent years, and spent most of the last two seasons on the injury report with ankle problems.
