Report: Lions CB Quandre Diggs suffers season-ending pectoral injury

The Detroit Lions have dealt with injury issues throughout their defense and on Monday got bad news about one of their better corners.

Rand Getlin is reporting starting nickel cornerback Quandre Diggs will miss the rest of the season after suffering a pectoral injury during Detroit’s 28-13 win over New Orleans on Sunday.

I'm told CB Quandre Diggs suffered a pectoral injury that will end his season. Hate it for him. And tough loss for that 8-4 #Lions team.

The 5-foot-9 Diggs has played in the first 28 games of his career after being drafted by the Lions in the sixth round last year.
