Eric Ebron didn't know how badly he was hurt when he went down with an ankle injury in the Detroit Lions' mock game Aug. 6. But like many who saw him get carted off Ford Field that day, he feared the worst.
In his first comments since the injury, Ebron said today that as he was being taken to the locker room he worried that his season might be over and told Lions trainer Kevin Bastin, "My life sucks."
"I was afraid," Ebron said. "I was afraid for the worst and just hoped for the best. That was – easily, by far that’s what I did.
