Detroit Lions expected Packers to challenge Crezdon Butler on critical 2-point conversion

GREEN BAY, Wisc. -- Everyone knew where Aaron Rodgers was going with the ball.

Two days ago, cornerback Crezdon Butler was unemployed. He worked out with the Detroit Lions on Friday, signed shortly before the team left Green Bay, and when injuries struck in secondary, he was unexpectedly forced into action.

After the Lions gave up a touchdown in the final minute of the fourth quarter, cutting the team's lead to 18-16, the Packers had to go for two. Butler lined up in the slot, in single coverage against Green Bay's top target Davante Adams, and the play call was clear.
