Despite giving up 25 more passing yards per game than the defending Super Bowl champs had at this same time last year, the #1 defense in the league is bettering that heavily-publicized unit in in total yards per game, points per game, and QBR.

If the Lions can get their health and special teams in order, these numbers bode well for a deep run into January.
