The Denver Nuggets will cross the pond to play the Indiana Pacers in London on January 12, 2017, as part of next season’s NBA Global Games at the O2 Arena. Guard Gary Harris helped make the announcement from the NBA’s European headquarters in London via Facebook Live.
It’s the first time in team history the Nuggets will play a game in the U.K. and the NBA’s seventh regular-season game in London. The Global Games are part of an effort on the NBA’s part to continue to grow the game’s popularity overseas. Currently about 25 percent of NBA players are born outside of the U.
