ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Von Miller leads the NFL in sacks, at 13.5, or three sacks more than any other player in the league entering Thursday night’s Raiders-Chiefs game in Kansas City.
Miller has dealt with a continuing stream of double- and triple-teams all season to get to that sack total, with defensive coordinator Wade Phillips saying Thursday that the Jacksonville Jaguars took it to the extreme this past week.
“I’ve never seen a guy double-teamed as much as he was last game,’’ Phillips said. “It was phenomenal and talking to their coaches at the end of the game, they said, ‘We weren’t going to let him be the difference.
