Ty Sambrailo to get another start at right tackle if needed

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – With Denver Broncos right tackle Donald Stephenson still recovering from a calf injury, coach Gary Kubiak said he would keep Ty Sambrailo at right tackle.

Sambrailo played in Stephenson’s spot in the 29-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. It was Sambrailo’s first game action since he suffered a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 3 of the 2015 season.

Sambrailo had suffered an elbow injury early in training camp and did not play in any of the Broncos’ four preseason games or in the Broncos’ first three games of the season. And at times against the Bengals Sambrailo looked rusty, but the Broncos liked the body of work in the game enough to leave Sambrailo in place for the team’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
