After free agent defensive lineman Earl Mitchell left Denver without signing a deal, it seemed like his chances of joining the team were slim. According to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, the San Fransisco 49ers have signed Earl Mitchell to a four-year deal worth $16 million dollars. He will reportedly make $5.5 million dollars in his first year of the contract.
