So my editors wanted me to write another “do not draft” piece, even after 2016’s debacle, in which I advised staying away from the likes of Ezekiel Elliott (average draft position: 7), Kelvin Benjamin (44), Jay Ajayi (86!) and Jimmy Graham (108). On the other hand, at least I was Nostradamus-like with Dion Lewis (58), so that’s something off which to build.
As always, the following players are not completely undraftable, because everyone is worth selecting — at the right price. What I’m saying is that their current prices, as determined by their ADPs at Fantasy Pros, make them too expensive for what you’re likely to get in return.
