The NFL has once again proven that its policies, procedures, and perfect formulas are flawed, indeed. The Denver Broncos, who were among last year’s biggest ‘losers’ in free agency in terms of actual players lost, were also one of the biggest losers when it came to 2017 compensatory draft picks.
The Broncos were ‘awarded’ picks in the 3rd, 5th, and 7th (two selections) rounds, tying for the league lead with four overall compensatory selections. However, according to this post on Over The Cap, the scenario the Broncos ended up with was just short of the worst they could have anticipated.
