Robinson was an instant hit at Alabama, earning Freshman All-American honors in 2014, followed by All-SEC honors in 2015. He was a unanimous All-American in 2016 as he helped pave the way for the Tide as their left tackle and team captain.
This was after Robinson faced weapons and drug charges (with another Alabama teammate) in the Summer of 2016.
