JUST IN: Broncos Finalizing Deal To Make Gary Kubiak Head Coach

The Denver Broncos didn't have a coaching vacancy for very long.

Just hours after the team parted ways with John Fox, the rumors about a Kubiak reunion started to surface...and according to the Denver Post, a deal is being finalized and could be announced early this week.

Kubiak spent  1983-1991 with the franchise as a player, and 1995-2005 with the Broncos as a coach. After backing up John Elway for just under a decade, he was hired as an offensive coordinator/QBs coach in 1995 and in 2003 gave up QB coaching duties to focus on his role as the team's OC. He left in 2006 to become head coach of the Houston Texans, and he had a 61-64 overall record in just under eight years with the franchise.

Kubiak spent 2014 as the Baltimore Ravens' offensive coordinator. The deal is expected to run for four years.
