Broncos Rumors: John Fox to receive contract extension soon?

Broncos rumors have been centered this offseason around the 2014 NFL free agent market--and, for good reason.

The Denver Broncos are emerging as one of the clear winners of the first few weeks of free agency, and one of the key factors in making that happen may be up for a contract extension here in the very near future.

Per Mike Garafolo of Fox Sports 1, in light of the Seattle Seahawks agreeing to terms with Pete Carroll on an extension, their Super Bowl XLVIII opponents may follow suit --

Despite suffering a humbling 43-8 defeat at the hands of the Seahawks a couple months ago (the fifth Super Bowl loss for the Broncos as a franchise), Fox has led the Denver Broncos to consecutive 13-3 regular season finishes in 2012 and 2013.

Fox has overseen a record-breaking offensive metamorphosis -- playing to starting quarterback Peyton Manning's strengths while leading the Broncos to a #2 NFL rank in total offense in 2012, and a #1 rank in 2013.

The Denver Broncos head coach is entering the final year of a 4-year, $13 million contract. He is scheduled to make $3.25 million this upcoming season
