Broncos Rumors: Broncos tender offers to free agents Mitch Unrein, Brandon Marshall

Broncos rumors are as busy as can be, with the AFC Champion Denver Broncos doing their very best to retain pieces from last year's squad which they see as vital to their success going forward.

According to Tom Pelissero of USA Today Sports, the Denver Broncos have added two players to the list of contract tenders for today--

Mitch Unrein has functioned as a backup defensive tackle for the Denver Broncos over the past three seasons, seeing action in 46 of the Denver Broncos' 48 regular season contests over that span. He has started just three times.

Brandon Marshall, the linebacker not the superstar Chicago Bears receiver, realized a boyhood dream last season--being called up from the Broncos' practice squad for Denver's Week 17 contest against the Oakland Raiders.

The two-year pro and former fifth-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2012 NFL Draft was active for the entirety of the Denver Broncos' Super Bowl run.

The 24-year old Marshall made it abundantly clear how blessed he felt to have a chance to prove himself with the AFC champion Broncos--"Everything has happened the way it was supposed to," Marshall stated. "God has a plan for me. It's the right time. Right now."

Unrein and Marshall join cornerbacks Chris Harris and Tony Carter, and safety Duke Ihenacho as Denver Broncos players to receive contract tender offers today.
