Denver Broncos starting running back Montee Ball exited in the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals with a groin injury.

Per NBC Sports' RotoWorld, "with C.J. Anderson a healthy scratch against Arizona, Ronnie Hillman will serve as Denver's feature back unless Ball is able to return. Our assumption is that Ball will not. He appeared to be in a lot of pain on the ground, before walking tentatively off the field with the assistance of trainers."

Ball had rushed for just seven yards on six carries before being helped back to the locker room.
