The NFL schedule for next season has just been released, so here are the three biggest match-ups for the Denver Broncos heading into their 2014 schedule:

Sunday, September 21st at Seattle Seahawks

A 45-8 drubbing can cause a grudge for the team on the losing end. When it happens in the Super Bowl, look out.

The Seahawks host the Broncos in a Super Bowl rematch that will be one of the most talked about contests of the 2014 NFL season. Aqib Talib, DeMarcus Ware, and a made-over Broncos defense will look to exact a measure of revenge by humbling the Seahawks in front of the 12th Man -- and a regional (why???) television audience.

Sunday Night Football, October 19th vs. San Francisco 49ers

Manning vs. Kaepernick in a clash between the old guard and the new guard of NFL quarterbacks.

These two teams will meet in the preseason as well in the first NFL game played at the San Francisco 49ers' brand-new Levi's Stadium. So, these Super Bowl contenders should be plenty familiar with each other when they lock horns in the Mile High City.

Sunday, November 2nd at New England Patriots

The Denver Broncos are prohibitive favorites to win the AFC West, yet the intensity of Broncos/Patriots always feels like a division game -- regardless if it's during the regular season or playoffs.

Brady vs. Manning = Magic vs. Bird for our generation. This game, for good reason, will be the talk of the town, the league, and the country. Whoever wins this game could end up having inside track to home-field advantage throughout the playoffs in the AFC.
