Broncos Fans Want Phil Simms Banned From Broadcasting Denver Games

In this Broncos news and rumors update, CBS broadcaster and 2015 NFL Hall of Fame inductee Phil Simms is an unwanted man as far as Denver Broncos fans are concerned.

Per Mike Florio of NBC's Pro Football Talk, "via the Denver Postmore than 40,000 fans have added their names to a Change.org petition urging Simms to be barred from calling any games involving the Denver franchise."

The petition makes the reasoning behind its existence extremely clear from the get-go.

“CBS please ban Phil Simms from Broadcasting anymore Bronco games,” the petition reads.  “We do not know why he is assigned to the Broncos games every year.  It is sure and complete torture for us Broncos Fans to have to listen to his biased drivel every week.  Please hear us out on this, we are tired of Phil Simms in Denver!”

As of this writing, 41,543 fans have signed the petition with plenty more signatures likely to come.

However, Vic Lombardi of CBS 4 in Denver does want Broncos fans to know that Denver has won the last ten games that Simms has been present.

Regardless, we're sure that won't be changing any minds any time soon.
