3 Players The Denver Broncos Should Target In Free Agency

While we won't see a spending spree like last summer's, the Denver Broncos will once again be looking to restock their roster through free agency. They can't throw around enough money to land a premier free agent like Dez Bryant or Ndamukong Suh...but the Broncos have enough room to upgrade several key positions. Here are three free agents they should take a serious look at:

3. DT Jared Odrick

Terrance Knighton is set for Free Agency, and the Broncos will likely need to bring in a replacement. Odrick was excellent for the Miami Dolphins last season, and he's versatile enough to flourish in Wade Phillips' 3-4 defense. While Odrick won't come cheap (Drew Rosenhaus clients rarely do), the 27-year-old should still end up within Denver's price range...especially with several big deals coming off the books.

2. C Stefen Wisniewski

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Oakland Raiders

The Broncos need a new center, and they can get a solid one for fairly cheap in former Raider Wisniewski. Despite Oakland's struggles, Wisniewski has regularly been the only constant on their frequently-shuffled offensive line, and he's managed to impress despite lining up next to a parade of turnstiles and revolving doors. Playing with decent teammates should make him look even better, and at just 26, he'll continue to improve for some time.

1. G Clint Boling

Orlando Franklin is also set for free agency, and Boling is a younger, cheaper replacement with nearly identical production. Pro Football Focus graded him just five spots lower than Franklin in their 2014 player ratings, and he actually filled in at right tackle (a position where the Broncos could also use more depth) a bit in 2014 after Cincy benched Marshall Newhouse.

Overall, it sounds like the offensive line is a top priority for Denver's front office as we head into the pre-2015 offseason. Wisniewski and Boling aren't the only interesting free agents out there, but they have the right mix of talent, potential, and under-the-radar value. Wisniewski is undervalued because of how hard it is to look good while playing offensive line for the Oakland Raiders, and Boling's willingness to fill in where needed on the line (even if it isn't his natural position) has also helped keep his price tag low. Odrick won't be nearly as cheap, but would shine in the 3-4 with both Von Miller and Brandon Marshall coming off the edge.
