2016 NFL Draft: Broncos Pick Paxton Lynch - Scouting Report, Highlight Video And More

With the 26th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos have selected QB Paxton Lynch from Memphis. The Broncos traded up with the Seahawks to get Lynch, giving up a 3rd in the process

Position: Quarterback

Measurables: 6’7”, 244 lbs, 4.86 40-yard dash

Analysis:
Lynch is able to use his size to easily scan opposing defenses. He has excellent feet that allow him to easily escape the rush and quickly become throw-ready. Add that with a quick release, very good arm strength, and smart decision-making, Lynch has the potential to become a very good NFL quarterback. He still needs time to adjust to the NFL game, but the tools are there.
