NEW YORK -- The Stars are taking this goalie-share program way too far.
Dallas has balanced Antti Niemi and Kari Lehtonen over the last two seasons, but using both in six of the last 10 games was never part of the plan.
Still, the Stars have won three of the six games, including a 7-6 victory over the Rangers on Tuesday, so both goalies might continue playing in one game.
"To try to change momentum, it's been my choice to go with the other guy in the course of a game," Stars coach Lindy Ruff. "Sometimes, it's worked for us.
