The Dallas Stars third trade of the week has finally affected the Texas Stars directly. Texas adds Mark McNeill, a forward who has played his entire pro career in the Blackhawks system, to their ranks in return for Johnny Oduya. He will obviously not be in tonight for Texas and I would put him at doubtful for tomorrow. It seems more likely he joins the team in Cedar Park for the weekend set.

Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has acquired forward Mark McNeill and a conditional fourth-round selection in the 2018 NHL Draft from the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for defenseman Johnny Oduya.
