Heika: Stars are trying to find heart of their team, in transition period while facing some of NHL's best

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Having flunked a huge test on Saturday, the Stars were back at the books again Monday.

While a 5-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks was disappointing, Dallas has no time to fret. Instead, it plays at Minnesota Tuesday, at Chicago Thursday and then hosts the NHL's best team, Washington, Saturday. And the ability to bounce back and perform in these games is huge for a team that still doesn't know where it stands in the NHL.

"We have some big games down the stretch, and ultimately that's how our season is going to be defined," said veteran forward Patrick Sharp.
